Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, streamer ed ex-player di Valorant, ha annunciato ufficialmente la lista completa dei finalisti dei VALORANT Community Awards, un’iniziativa che si distingue nel panorama esports per il suo metodo di selezione (simile a quello dei celebri HLTV Awards di Counter-Strike). A differenza dei classici premi basati su votazioni popolari o semplici statistiche, i Community Awards puntano tutto sulla peer recognition: a decidere sono direttamente giocatori, coach e competitor, attraverso un sistema a punti in cui ogni votante invia una top 5 per categoria. Da questo processo nasce una shortlist finale di tre nomi.
Un evento che unisce VCT e Game Changers
Sviluppata in collaborazione con Riot Games e Red Bull, la cerimonia dei VALORANT Community Awards punta a valorizzare l’intero ecosistema competitivo, mettendo sotto i riflettori sia il VCT che il circuito Game Changers. L’obiettivo dichiarato è quello di dare spazio a tutte le eccellenze della scena, promuovendo una cultura del riconoscimento tra pari.
L’evento si terrà il 4 febbraio alle 21:00 PST, con una diretta live da Los Angeles trasmessa sui canali Twitch e YouTube di TenZ.
